By Samast Patidar Samaj Trust Mrs. M.M. On 1st July 2023 at Kheni Bhavan, the program “Celebration of Independence and Distribution of Education Fund Checks” was held. In which more than 1200 people from many areas of Surat including Varachha, Katargam joined. Also, in this program, 917 sisters who have completed training in the last one year at the Skill Development Center were honored. In which many dignitaries including Shri Dhirubhai Malviya, Chairman of the Education Fund, Mr. Nanubhai Vanani, Social Leader, Mrs. Mitalben Patel working for the upliftment of forgotten caste in Gujarat, Mrs. Hemaliben Boghavala, Mayor of Surat, trustees of the society were present.

By making the sisters self-reliant and self-reliant, the work of community upliftment was done by Samast Patidar Samaj Trust, Surat, by Mrs. M. like this. It is done at the Skill Development Center run by Kheni Bhawan. Under which training classes in sewing, mehndi, beauty parlor and nail art are conducted. More than 600 sisters have completed their training in the last 9 months in these classes run at a very nominal cost. The sisters who are trained from here are providing financial support to their family…

Such classes have been running for the last 3 months and have been completed in February 2023. Certificates were distributed to all such trained sisters on March 4. In which Mrs. Kirtibehan Italia spoke to the sisters to get a foothold. Apart from this, Mr. Babubhai Gujarati (Vice President, Samast Patidar Samaj Trust), Mr. Jagdishbhai Khoot (President, Umrala Taluka) and Mr. Abhinbhai Kalathia (Sardar Dham Yuva Tej, Gujarat) were specially present in the program.
